Mozilla Firefox
If your not using Firefox and your not behind a corporate firewall with restrictive administrative restrictions or on some kind of public use computer then you are missing out on the best browser on the internet. Firefox is a free open source program developed by the Mozilla Foundation and thousands of developers around the world. The results of being FOSS is a level of security and usability unmatched by other browsers. After installing Firefox, Tips & Tricks is a good place to start.
Netvibes
Netvibes is an internet personal home page. A place where you can keep all of your favorite internet information in one place. You can have your email, local weather, ebay auctions, facebook, blogs and news all on one page. The amount of information you can process is amazing. Netvibes makes it easy to keep track on your online life.
RSS – Really Simple Syndication
RSS is an internet technology used to deliver blog posts, news stories or anything someone might want to publish. RSS feeds are used by many websites to keep their content fresh for readers. http://dylanfogle.com/feed/ is the rss feed for my blog. Combine rss feeds with a news aggregator like Netvibes or IGoogle and you can read all your favorite web authors in less time.
